DESCRIPTION OF THE RECORDS SEARCH CHOICES

All Records

This search is a search designed to allow you to find an individual record by name or case number.  It is a compilation of the County Courts and Common Pleas Court criminal, traffic and soon to come, civil and domestic cases.

Alchemy

In a concerted effort to save storage space, virtually do away with paper, and offer the public access to many more records, the Clerk of Courts launched this product as its electronic records retention program.  As time goes on we will offer to you all of the historical documentation the Clerk’s Office holds in its current attic storage area.  This amounts to, at present, about two million documents dating back to the inception of the Sandusky County Court of Common Pleas. This search area will also contain data from the County Court in Clyde and Woodville dating back to their inception.  Much of this information is currently on microfilm but we are converting that to digital imaging also.  This section of our records search will eventually become the location of our day forward work as we progress toward becoming a virtually paperless offices.

Common Pleas

The records here contain information pertaining to felony criminal cases.  Coming, in the not too distant future, will be information regarding domestic relations cases and civil matters.

County Courts

These records are  compilation of misdemeanor criminal filings and traffic offenses.  Again, coming soon will be information regarding civil, small claims and landlord tenant matters.

Data Acquisition Group

This link is reserved for those entities that desire to obtain our data in bulk fashion.  It requires a user name and password and is available at a cost.  It contains both the felony and misdemeanor criminal/traffic information.  It will eventually contain the domestic relations and civil filing information. 

This search area is a compilation of the three courts

(Common Pleas, Clyde, Woodville) falling under the record retention responsibility of the

Clerk of Courts.  If your agency desires to obtain information in bulk, please contact the
