Experience:

In November, 2000, Thomas L. Stierwalt was elected Sandusky County Prosecuting Attorney. The office has three Assistant Prosecutors and three Support Staff, as well as two Victim's Advocates. Tom is a 1968 graduate of Fremont Ross High School, the University of Toledo where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1972 and a Juris Doctor degree in 1975. Tom was engaged in the practice of law for 25 years and served as Secretary to the Fremont Civil Service Commission and as Acting Judge in the Fremont Municipal Court. Tom and his wife Kathy have six children. Kathy is a registered nurse at Memorial Hospital and is a Major in the US Air Force Reserve.
