Public Service:

Judge Brad Culbert served as Assistant County Prosecutor from January 1985 until October 1990. First elected November 6, 1990 as Judge of the Court of Common Pleas of Sandusky County, Ohio, Probate and Juvenile Divisions to a six-year term commencing February 9, 1991. Reelected in November 1996 and in November 2002. Currently Serving his third term.

 

Education:

Judge Culbert is a 1976 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History at the College of Wooster in 1980 and earned a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Toledo, College of Law in 1983.

 

Professional:

Judge Culbert is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and The Sandusky County Bar Association, where he served as President in 1992. He is a member of the National College of Probate Judges and the Ohio Association of Probate Judges. He is also a member of the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges and the Ohio Association of Juvenile Court Judges, where he served as President (2001-2002).

 

Personal:

Judge Culbert and his wife Patty have four children and are members of Sacred Heart Church. Judge Culbert and his family reside in Fremont, Ohio.
