Sandusky County Job and Family Services are taking application for an INVESTIGATIONS CASEWORKER.

Sandusky County Park District is accepting applications for Seasonal Lifeguards for White Star Park Beach for the 2012 summer season (5/26/12 – 9/3/12). Minimum acceptable qualifications are: Must be certified in first aid and CPR and be a certified lifeguard.  Must be able to operate cash register, beach and concession equipment, and make change for paying customers. Job duties include: Monitors activities in swimming areas to prevent accidents and provide assistance to swimmers and other park patrons.  Cautions swimmers regarding unsafe areas, activities and conditions.  Assists swimmers experiencing difficulties and administers necessary first aid. Assists law enforcement officers, medics, firefighters, and other safety service personnel providing aid to patrons.  Maintains order in swimming areas. Inspects facilities and equipment for cleanliness and condition.  Assists in facility and equipment maintenance and upkeep.  May participate in the provision of swimming instructions.  Legibly completes and files required forms and reports.  Collects fees, makes proper change for payments and prepares and serves concession items; other duties as assigned. Sandusky County Park District is accepting applications for Seasonal Park Workers for White Star Park Beach for the 2012 summer season (4/16/12 – 9/30/12). Minimum acceptable qualifications are: Possession of current Ohio Drivers License with an acceptable driving record; ability to operate District vehicles and equipment; ability to lift and carry 80 lbs.  Job duties include: Under the direct supervision of the Operations Supervisor, work duties include operating equipment such as riding mowers, push mowers, pressure washer, power tools, power trimmers, and other equipment as required; complete accurate written records, provide assistance to the public and aid in their use of Park District facilities; actively assists in the maintenance and improvement of park lands and facilities; other duties as assigned.
